Papo’s Shop

Before he and the rest of my family moved to Montana in the early 1970’s, my great-grandfather and namesake Charlie Lowe lived on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado for more than forty years. Papo’s shop is still there, and much of it is still as he left it. During a visit one summer, I explored the space with my camera, getting to know my great-grandfather a little more by examining part of what he left behind, and documenting the shop before it is gradually reclaimed by time and nature.
